I got a Pinterest! I don't know how I've gone so long without having one, it's such a cool way to share inspiration. Anyways, you should follow me here! You should also follow me on lookbook here, which is another really cool way to share fashion inspiration. I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday season, even though it's almost over :(.

Christmas Time!
Sorry I’ve been so absent from the blog lately. I’ve had so
much going on, but it is finally winter vacation, so I have a break from
everything for a little while. Just to give a super quick update, I went to New
York City (probably one of my favorite places ever) with my fashion marketing
class a couple weeks ago. We got to go to showrooms, including Steve Madden,
which were amazing! Going to New York made me realize just how much I love
fashion, and made me really want an internship in the summer. I’m also
designing in my school’s fashion show this year, so I will probably show you
some of those outfits in the next month or so. On a completely different note,
I’m getting my braces off in two weeks wohooo!!!!!! I hope you all have a
wonderful holiday season!

Winter Wishes
It is finally beginning to feel like Christmas season has started! These are some of my favorite picks that I would love to see underneath the tree this year. I'm totally in love with fair isle sweaters, and I'm glad they're popular this winter season. Have a wonderful day everyone!

DIY: Braided Bracelet
Tie all the chords and copper wire in a knot. Braid them together and stop with about 1/3 of the cord left. (Because there are 4 strands, connect the copper wire to one of the chords, and then braid normally)
String One of the beads on to all the strands.
String the gem bead on to the copper wire, then string another bead on to all the strands.
Finish braiding the strands, then using the pliers, put one of the clasps on. Once the clasp is secure, untie the knot, and cut all the strands.
On the other side of the bracelet, use the pliers again to put a clasp on. Cut the string down.
Wrap the bracelet around your wrist and enjoy!

Favorite Music
Music is such an inspiration to me in fashion, and life in general. It can reflect or completely change a person's mood, just like clothing! At the end of my outfit posts from now on, I'm going to try to put a song that I'm loving at the time. I hope they inspire you as well! With that being said, I'm leaving you with the song I have on repeat at the moment.

Paris Fashion Week: Louis Vuitton
I usually don't pay too much attention to the fashion weeks, but the spring/summer collection of Louis Vuitton in Paris was gorgeous! Everything about the show was wonderful, from the lace and eyelet detailing, to the models riding a carousel on the runway. I honestly would love to have any piece of clothing from the collection. The silhouettes of some of the clothes are similar to those of the Prada Spring/Summer 2012 show in New York with exaggerated hips and hourglass figures, while some are very streamlined. It is a breath of fresh air to see things that aren't super tight, which is what everyone around me wears.

Homecoming Shoping
So homecoming is in about a month, but it's never too early to look for a dress. I've been searching around, and I think I'm stuck between just two dresses. Help me out by leaving a comment with the dress you think I should wear. Thanks!!!

Back from the Beach
I'm on my way back now from a wonderful labor day weekend beach trip with family and my best friend. I love taking this vacation literally right as summer ends. I actually have school tomorrow, which I'm not super excited about, but it had to come sometime! Also, while at the beach, my friend and I got henna tattoos, wohoo!
